Bihar on upswinging trajectory

Boosted by a healthy growth in construction , internal security and communication , the state has been successfully pegged a growth of 11.5% , analogous to which the national average is around 8.5% .

Though hardly any additional investment in agri, industiral growth or exports , this is primarily the outcome of the major influx in the public welfare schemes by the state government and confidence building measures , injecting a sense of security among the business class been a shot in he arm for the states business and commercial community to resume operations. The state was in a grip of goons , rangdari and other form of jungle raj practices obnoxious to any form of spread of economic activities. Thanks to the commendable work done by the Nitish regime , these termites are in the jails under ARMS act.

Any development in infrastructure from the ground zero will give a major thrust to the growth figures. This is what is evident from Bihar's case. The state from practically nothing has around 380 bridges bulit in a year, along with road connections to rural areas under state governments and PMGSY. This has let to a major spurt in the growth figures.
